Writer – Creator;

James Mahoney

I Created White Jade in 2002 while I was living in Eugene, OR.

It began as an 80 Page Screenplay, later (2003-2005) became an over 120 Page Screenplay, and then finally in (2006-2007) I began converting it into Comic Script. It was at this point that I brought on Artist Del Borovic, who had done some Scene Drawings for it when it was just a Screenplay, and had her Draw me 8 Comic Book Pages. After which I had her Draw me Covers for Issue #1, and Issue #2.

And now in 2015 I’ve decided to make “White Jade” a YouTube Webseries.

Here’s My Kickstarter Video Which Tells About How This All Came To Be

    Looks really good, Jade. Looking forward to see how the rest of it turns out. I’ve always want to write a comic, but I’m not the best artist and like you said it can be expensive to hire someone. I suppose you’d have to be lucky to have a friend to draw it and you write it, so you can work together and both get credit.

      Yeah, it’s been a bit frustrating knowing that the only reason I haven’t continued this Comic, is basically because I can’t Draw.

      If I could Draw, I’d probably be Writing/Drawing and Self Publishing my own Comic Books…

      But being I can’t draw, I’m at the mercy of Hiring an Artist… I’ve looked for Artists other ways, but the bottom line is, they all want to get paid…

      And I don’t blame them, but it’s still frustrating. Because the Story has just been sitting there, you know…

      But, that’s why I’m going ahead and Self Publishing the “Comlet” Partial Comic… If I can generate any type of Revenue at all from it, I’ll toss it all to the Artist and get her working on it again.

      And you’re right, it would just be awesome to have a Friend that could draw, and we could just share Credit… I’ve approached my Brother, who used to be able to Draw pretty well, but he’s got two kids, and works, and is married… And just doesn’t seem to have the time.

      Thanks for The Comment and Compliment Quill
